As you probably know the comparison between separating area between and rotary and a convention does not tell you much. 915 sep area is 7800 sq. in. while the sep area for a 1480 is 5280. I have not operated a 915 but it is not much larger than a 503 and there is a big jump from a 503 to a 1480. Good luck and happy hunting.
