The Cub will cut beautifully, but watch how tall you let the grass get. My A will cut anything, but if the grass gets much over a foot tall, the belly mower starts to "climb" over the grass. I use the brush hog in the spring, then keep it down with the belly mower on the A. Also use a Massey Pony with a 5 foot belly mower, and it does a beautiful job. It"s about the same HP as the cub. If you don"t let the grass get too tall, you"ll love the Cub (especially Lo Boy)
