The amount you are entitled to varies from state to stat. The great thing is that your insurance company has a specific department called "subrogation" which will assist in prosecution of this felon. They will also keep on top of him and garnish wages if necessary, but will do everything possible to get the $ and your deductible back. SO...take a peek at your policy under the personal property section and see what it says, then call your agent. If you need insurance advice, give me a holler; I am an insurance agent.
