That darned porportioning valve doesn't work like I thought it would. Yes, it guarantees flow to the steering all the time, but it takes away from the rest of the system.

I thought total flow was available to the rest of the system if no power steering was called for. It ain't the case with this particular valve, so it requires a very fine adjustment to get it divided out accordingly.

But, it does really work sweet.
