Hi, I agree with RustyFarmall to use flexible hose. Alemite, Aeroquip and Weatherhead make this and have the inverted tube fittings that just push on. We've used it for years.

If you use a brake line you will have to double flare the tubing if you need to cut it.
That's not a problem if you have access to a double flaring tool. Hal
