Dale, in my state of basic ignorance I see that in the parts book, the 50982DC is the gas carb, but I don't see the DA except as a suffix to other parts such as the "throttle valve plate". I am sorry that I don't know what's going on. I'm sure others can help. Regarding sources, I am not qualified to help. The rebuilt carb that I have resulted from a trade and I don't know who supplied the kit. Only other thought I have is that in the rebuilt carb I found the pin that holds the float was just a tad short, and it would let the float drop down inside the bowl. I made a new pin from a nail and it worked fine. Just something to check before you install the rebuilt carb. Good luck.
