You could make the center axle tube yourself. Keep in mind it has a lot of holes to put in it, and it should be free of weld flash on the inner diameter(so you can slide the spindle "knees" into ieach end. The center pivot is nothing special, just some round tubing welded in with bronze bushings pressed into it. If you like make stuff, go for it, other wise I would just buy the new center tube. (Been there done that!)
