I know your compairing the D360 to the D358 "KRAUT POWER!"..........I have ran 766D's with the 360, an 826 with the D358, and a 756 with a D310. I have always liked the Germans, they run on hardly any fuel and make decent power. I honestly prefer the D310 to the D360. The 766's and this 756 I speak of are off the same farm. I much rather have the 756, especially on PTO jobs. IMO the 766 and a the 756 will preform about the same in the field even though the German is a tad smaller. I never ran the 826 beside a Melrose, but I'd imagine that the German would do just as much on probably less fuel. I though the 826 was so much more of a tractor when I first ran it that you couldn't even compare the two. Parts are more expensive for the Germans, but I still love 'em! Like my neighbors have always said, "Yup, them Kraut could really build a serious engine!"
