You failed to mention if it was diesel or gas which could make difference on rebuild cost and if diesel I'm told was 12 volt system and gas was 6 volt which after growing up with these tractors I never knew the gas one was 6 volt. We had a diesel our neighbor had a gas one. A few things to remember is as someone mentioned is that the TA is probably not working. This is very easy to check once you get the engine freed up and running just pull the left stick back while in gear and if it slows to a stop or creep just push on the brake and if it just sets there the TA is toast. This tractor was factory stocked with live hydraulics and live PTO which also makes it a premo tractor. The only other thing I can add is if you're going to show this tractor then horsepower is not an issue but if you're going to work it the horsepower rating is decieving because when they added all the live everything made it kind of doggy, on most any day a hot M or SM could walk all over it. That was the biggest complaint we always had but it sure was nice to run especially pulling the forage harvester when filling silo. Good Luck.

To top that off, you have a cup with oil in it ("why would you want to lubricate your carburetor?"). On closer examination (and some reading in a AC D-14 service manual), I found out that this is a pretty ingenious method of cleaning the air in the tractor's intake tract.
