Ramon: Not sure I follow you exactly. My take is the sliding collar allows hitch to float when moved foreward. The big nut on the end of the horizontal shaft will adjust height hitch will lift. Another item I will point out is the two position holes on rear rockshaft, where the horizontal bar hooks. The bottom hole will give you greater lifting range, but the top one will increase the lift capacity.
