They're held in position by a Woodruff Key. You can adjust the range of motion, not sure how far though. There are two hex(allen) head bolts next to where the rods from your control levers connect to the side of the hydraulic housing. I belive I have a picture in a service manual that shows you what to do. I'll e-mail it to you if I can find it. But basically you turn the bolt in or out to increase or decrease the motion af the arms. One bolt is for forward motion, and the other is for rearward motion.
