Hi tim Let me tell you what I am doing. I have an H that was rebuilt back in the 70s with M&W parts.
I honed the crap out of her about 7 years ago and installed a new set of sealed power rings. I have worked her hard . Now I picked up a new set of M&W sleeves on ebay and plan on installing them with new rings again along with everything else this time.As far as I know pistons wouldnt wear much if there wasnt a problem becuase the rings touch not the piston unless you are worn out and get lots of slap and stough.I guess there is also wrist pins to check. I will check on that other and get back to you. JON
