Allan: And well we might hang you out to dry. In Super series as well 00 and 50. I will garentee you the little offset SA, 100 and 130 will log more hours of service and suffer more abuse than the larger Farmalls of the day. No they wont pull as much as the H or M. In the days when 130 was new we had an H, 300, 560D and a Cockshutt 540, along with the Farmall 130. I know we got better value for dollar out of 130 than any of the rest except the 560D. My dad and I once hauled 157 cords of wood from bush on snow with bobsleds. The Farmall 130 did that task with 113 loads. I know as sure as I sit here the H or 300 would not have been faster or done it in fewer loads. My uncle farmed 100 acres milked 20 cows in the 1950s, and did all his work with a SA including pto baling. I'd be willing to bet no other Farmall has been asked to exceed its rating as much as A, SA, 100 and 130. Clearly you guys are out of line on your small tractor comments. I have nothing against big tractors, just if your going to buy them your best have something profitable for them to do or have deep pockets. I will go along with you and rusty on the C, SC, 200, etc. tractor, just too much rubber on the ground for that little engine.

On our first cosmetic restoration, not having a manual, we carefully marked the wires, taped the magneto in the position it came off, and were careful not to turn the engine over while we had these components off. We thought we could get by with this since the engine ran perfectly and would not need any internal work. After the cleanup and painting was done, we began reassembly and finally came to t
