I have the HVLP system from TP. I have had it
for a couple of years. I used it to paint a CJ2A
Jeep just this afternoon. I bought it in addition
to my regular automotive compressor and gun
because of the significant savings in paint and
reduction of overspray. It does take some
practice as the pattern is smaller and is
adjusted differently than the Binks gun I have
had for years. I found that the finish quality is
excellent when spraying Tractor Supply tractor
paints with hardener over DP40 epoxy sealer.
I have had less success using it with
automotive base coat clear coat systems.
Decent finish but more orange peel.
