In my opinion, there ain't no way to get it that light. Now, there are likely some puller wonks that have some ideas on radical weight-shaving methods that could help you out. Off-hand I don't know what the methods would be. Some figures for digestion: with 10 gallons of gas, one pair of rear wheel weights at 300#/pair, 16.9 x 34 rear rubber, no muffler, and my 210# butt in the seat, my W-9 scales 6,970#. Depending on what YOU weigh and heaving off the rear weights, you COULD make it light enough for the 6500# class, but the 5500# class? Ooooh boy! Don't think so. BTW: my 9 did just fine in a pull this summer in the 7500# class.
