We own 2 1486, a 400, 450, super M-TA, used to have 1066, 1466, and 3588. All have TA"s. Proper adjustmnet is essential. Plus, it is designed to give extra torque when you need it. Hence the name. Leave the thing in the forward direct position, use only when you need the torque. Plus, never, never, never, ever, never use the TA as a brake to slow the tractor. We made this mistake with our 1486"s, otr the heck out of them.
