The 560 uses common oil for botht the hyd's and trans/rear axle. If your tractor whines when you activate a hyd function, but doesn't really move much, you probably have a clogged suction screen. On the left bottom side in front of the clutch, there is a cover with 6 or 8 bolts. Inside this is the screen and filter. You can wash the screen with gas. My dad's tractor needs cleaning about once a year under moderate usage. The screen usually blocks with metal fines from the trans due to having to grind the gears now and then when the oil gets warm (the tractor has about 6000 hrs on the trans so things are a little loose). WATCH OUT! Oil will come out of this cover!!!! If you have a steep hill, steady nerves and good life insurance, you can drive the tractor kind of up and sideways on the hill enough to keep the leakage to a minimum-don't try this without water and weights!!!!
