I guess I need to clarify...I don't really care about saving a few bucks to obtain a family heirloom. I just don't want the guy (he is kind of an eccentric fella....marches to the beat of a different drum..know what I mean?) to put the price sky high (like $3500) because he thinks he just hit the jackpot. 1--I can't afford it at that price, 2--I might only have one shot at it...and don't want to screw it up.
The tractor is one that if I didn't have sentimental ties to it....I wouldn't think it would be worth any more than $500 on a sunny day.
