W 6 tie rod ends

My W6 is getting some play in the front end, I am wondering what can be done to the tie rod ends. They have a clamped vertical pin. The dealer had no replacement parts. Is there a replacement bushing and pin availible or do I have to drill and bush myself. One old farmer suggested heating it up and pouring babbit in to fill the space.
