Two amps would be considered a trickle charge rate. If the battery were fully charged and you continued to charge it at a two amp rate, the battery might give up some water, but this would take a LONG time. You will not harm the battery unless you let the battery charge unattended at this rate for prolonged times. I mean for longer than several days - without at least checking the electrolyte level.
