Be careful of what you read on here sometimes. The difference is the width of the rear end. A BN is 8 inches overall narrower than a B. 4 inches on each side. The differential shafts and housings of a B are about 22 inches each side, on a BN they are about 18 inches each side. There are a few other things that have to be different dimentions to accomodate that, but they use the same engine, transmission, final drives etc. The housings on a BN are the same length as an A, but as gene b pointed out, they are NOT the same in other ways.
