I recently did one for a 200 that had set in the rain with the cap for a couple of years. It was full of rust and is a baffle tank. I ended up having to do the acid soak three times to get to bear metal. In retrospect if I were real busy with my day job I would be willing to pay someone over $100.00 just for the labor. My cost were: The price of the kit, 6 gallons of Muriatic acid, one gallon of Methyl Ethel Ketone, one pair of blue jeans ruined by the acid, and while soaking my daughter-in-law ran into the tank with her car. I ratted with the tank for about a week and now I have to deal with a dent. The inside of the tank is beautiful white now and there are no leaks.
