With the TA you want to use HyTran or a substitute (others claim HyTran only). The Manual for a 300 will call for 90W but trans-hydraulic fluid has been found to be better for the TA especially when being used in colder weather.

Water in the tranmission is common on the 300 due to condensation and the recessed bolt holes on the platform. I drained about 4 gallons out of my 350 when I bought it. Imagine what this water freezing can do to the huge rear casting or when you attempt to throw it into gear on a cold morning.
