It's true the front end of the Super A/100/140, etc are a little weak. However, if you don't abuse the set up, I don't expect you will ever have a problem. The factory blade for these tractors has a spring on it to absorb shock if you hit something. Pushing snow, about the only thing I can think of that would cause damage would be hitting a curb or something else really solid. I used such a blade on my 140 for 10 years, pushing not only snow, but dirt and rocks. I never broke anything on the tractor nor was anythng broken when I got it. The blade had some broken welds when I got it. I think due to abuse when used as a grounds tractor for a hospital. It plowed the parking lots there for 10 winters before I got it and that was when we used to have some snow around here.
