Next 560 question

OK, If I decide to buy the 560 gasser, How difficult would it be to put in a D-282?
Does it take the same clutch and is the bellhousing the same?
How about the clutch release stuff, will it interchange?
The present owner has told me that it does use a lot of fuel when using it hard.
I think I know of a parts tractor with a diesel and a wide front I could possibly get reasonable.
Or,
Should I just wait for a nice Diesel to come along?
