John You will have to get the degree of timeing from a manual. But on the outside of the pump is a plate with 2 screws the plate is about 1/2" x 1-1/4" take it of and you will 2 disks the one to the back should have a black line and it does not turn the front one does turn so you may not see it at first. If not turn the engine over til toy see the front come into the opening when it goes into the opening you are coming up to #1 compression go to the belt pulley on front of engine and set degree of time to the pointer then check the 2 lines on the pump they should line up if not loosen the 2 nuts that hold the pump on and rotate to line up lines in pump if in line that is it. Shut fuel of first because it will run out. That is about it.
