Here's a different way of thinking about this, from soneone who's been on the inside and outside of cliques: 1. Do they realise they're doing this? Some folks just aren't outgoing. 2. Are there other groups within the chapter? The non-clique folks? 3. Even if they are a bunch of numbnuts who just like to be important, are they still delivering to the chapter-good events, plow days, and the like? 4. Are you going to the events? I'm a member of one organization (non-IH club) that has it's groups. It took awhile but eventually what I could bring to the organization was recognized, and I was accepted. Then the fun begins of getting the new people accepted.
