Dont use thread sealer as they need a good ground to activate properly.Use a test light and position it so you can see it from the tractor seat and test the switch,see that it goes on and off when you use the button.Then drive it around and look to see if it lights up while vibrating down the road,doing at night helps. Test your voltage to the plugs,and compare the voltage to someone elses tractor.Wonder if someone tried to replace them early on and stripped the threads out of the holes and are screwed up somehow.
