Ron: Not sure I didn't do that just by accident. I have a site bookmarked called Iron Solutions, basically farm, construction and trucking equipment for sale. Usually runs about 50,000 items across North America with about 10,000 of them being farm tractors. I was always aware of some Farmall 656s being sold new with pressed rear wheels. What I've noticed in all cases is these tractors were called Western Specials. Everyone of these tractors for sale on Iron Solutions site are from MN, ND, SD, NE, etc. I being an Easterner have never actually seen one, but the rims appear large enough for 18.4 or 20.8 rear tires and are listed as 34". Question for you, is that the case? I had a John Deere with 18.4 x 34 and those wheels with tires stood about same height as 15.5 x 38 on my 656. Sounds as though this is the way Westerners wanted these tractors equiped. Most I've seen in photos have 3-4 sets of wheel weights. 3 weights would probably equal the cast wheel in weight. Do these Western Specials have 3 point hitch? I have seen a few listed indicating no 3 point, usually it doesn't say.

We thought we could get by with this since the engine ran perfectly and would not need any internal work. After the cleanup and painting was done, we began reassembly and finally came to t
