engines in 100s, all the same?

I took the head off a stuck 100 yesterday. One of the lifter rods was bent like an S and the valves look pretty terrible. There's been water standing in the cylinders for a while. New to working on the INSIDE of Farmall engines, I was wondering when I look for parts if all the 100 engines were the same or is there something else I need to know about it. Thanks in advance.
