Kelly: You are going to have trouble getting that GM Delco alternator to fit under hood of 300 and still give you room for belt adjustment. There are smaller alternators out there that will work much better. I have seen dozens of 300 with bottom hood mounting bolt on right front missing, and we all know why. What you need is an alternator from Nissan or Toyota, etc.
