It would be my guess that the freeze plug is leaking. Can't say if it will hurt or not,as long as it does't any worse and you can put up with the drip. The worst scenario is that it gets worse and leaks out your coolent and you don't notice and it overheats the notor. I had the same problem with my A. The area where the plug seats was pitted and silicone wouldn't hold,so I mixed up a little batch of JB weld and put a small bead around the seat. Hadn't had any problens since. Hope this helps.
