I had agreeded that I would install all of the new 12 volt electrical system. The one reservation was that I could do when no one else was around to help.

Well, today was the day. Installed a new Hitichi 12 volt alternator, balast resister, 30 amp relay, one way diode. Remodeled the mounting and tensioner and installed new belt. Then ran all new wire with new connectors. Used shrink tubing to combine the coil & alternator wires. Cleaned up & chrome painted the reflectors and installed new pig tails & bulbs but left them off until after the painting. Will also wait until after painting to put on the new plugs, cap & wires etc.. Took about three hours but wasn't trying to hurry.
