Hey Scotty, you hook the weilder leads at each end of the pipe and turn it on. You need to know the duty statis of your weilder to determin how high to set it. Dads first weilder was a Miller and could have been older than me. It was copper wound and was a 230 AC, with a 100% duty statis. I have seen it run all day once at the top, at my Grandad"s about 300 ft, from house to tank across the road in the lot. It must be Galvatized Pipe.
