IH didn't start putting any kind of universal hydraulic hitch on their production tractors in the USA until 1954, and then it was the Fast Hitch, not 3 point. IH really didn't start selling tractors with 3 point in the USA until the '06 series in 1963, with the exception of some Eurpoean models that were imported. Anything on a letter-series or W-series tractor from the '40s and '50s is going to be an aftermarket add-on. The only aftermarket 3 point conversions I know of are for Farmall models. Frankly, I don't know if putting a 3 point on a W-6 is practical... Where are you going to attach it? The Farmalls have square axle housings that are out in the open. On a W-6, you would have to do some serious modification to the platform and hitch area to get to anything solid to mount the 3 point hitch. PLus, you'd have to design and build it yourself.
