Hi Paul, Sounds like that new float seat and needle are leaking fuel or your float level may be set too high. Has it ever run ok since you redid the carburetor and did it do this prior to installing the new carb parts? Be sure the float isn't rubbing against the sides of the carburetor.
This can keep the float from shutting off the fuel. Does the fuel drip when the tractor is just sitting with the engine off and the fuel
shutoff is in the open position? Hal
