Whoa be it for me to tell you how or what size tractor to get.

You can put a loader on any tractor. I've even seen the things on little lawn tractors. Check with your local machinery dealer and they can put you onto a manufacturer who builds a loader for just about any tractor.

However, in a whisper, I will say to you that I cannot imagine getting anything smaller than an H and still want to be able to do chores around a farmstead. To me, a H is even too darned small, but then, I'm an old guy too.

This is just my view and opinion,
