Yeah, what Hugh said about removing the loader. I don't know how big a compost pile you have, but you could turn quite a bit by hand for the effort involved in installing then removing a loader. Anything you could rear mount fairly easily, even if it only did part of the turning would probably be a better labor payoff than mounting a loader. POS means "piece of 'stuff'", used to describe something that is either worn out or beat up or both to the point it has little value. If it runs at all it would be adequate for your small amount of use. A platform carrier is a flat deck that mounts on the back of a tractor. I was suggesting it or a trailer for your "carrying small hay bales" requirement, not for turning your compost.
