Thanks Bob, Red Dave and little john for your suggestions. I have had the carb off no less than a dozen times. As for dirt in needle/seat, could be, because I had it running best after high rpm's and it did not drip that time after shutting down. After subsequent taking apart several times and cleaning that area, though, it now keeps dripping (overflowing). Float is in bracket each time I brake carb in half, so pin is OK length and there is no gas in float when removed, but I WILL examine it more carefully for a hole. That would really make it overflow alright. Thanks guys, its back to the carb.
