404 brackers

on my 404 3 point theres a bracket attached to the upper part of the vertical links, and they bolt to the rockshaft, any idea what they are or what there used for? anyone out there intersted in buying them? i have pictures of them if anyone needs to see them, i don't know how to post and image here.
