Well,I bit the bullet and got a parts store ignition switch and installed it (couldnt use the oem key cover because it wouldnt fit...and I broke it taking it off anyway).Works great now.All lights, and starter cranks everytime. The old 50 year vintage switch was just plain shot. As for the TA,it now seems to work.I tried a 2nd gear takeoff, and in HIGH range the tires would spin when the clutch is released,in TA LOW the tires dont spin,so its obviously a lower ratio. Its coming together now! The 300U remains alive! (the fast hitch raises and lowers too....1st chance I had to test that out...)
