1,000,000 for the ?? time.

Harley, in the previous thread is correct. The January 2003 issue of Harvester Highlights (The IH Collectors Club publication) shows original pictures of the 1,000,000 Farmall, an M, produced on April 30, 1951. This was also the 25th anniversary of the Farmall plant, called the Tri-City Works, where in 1926 the first Farmall Regular was built. So producing 1,000,000 Farmalls took 25 years. The production of the tractor on the 25th anniversary of the plant is quite a coincidence, but I will take it for the truth, unless someone can show other documentation proving it wrong. As most people know, the 5,000,000 is pictured in Ken Updike's "International Harvester Tractor's 1955-1985".
