Yes, and yes. The fixed half of the pulleys is pinned to the hub and the hub has to be pressed off of the pump housing to get the pin out. Remove the bearings if they come out in the hub. The cross-hole for the pin is at the transition between the fan belt flange and the generator belt flange and runs at a slight angle so you can punch it out from the bore of the hub. Once the fixed half is off, thread the nut half on the hub and reverse the process. Check your pump bearings before assembly. If they don"t feel perfect, replace them now.
