Depends, I have a 460 that had roller inner bearings, without the triangle on the serial plate. As far as I was concerned, the inner bearings had too much play in them. I replaced them with--ball bearings, because I didn't want to pay $200 apiece for new roller bearings as opposed to $60 for ball bearings, and the tractor will not see heavy work. Will last me forever. The next owner, if there is one may have problems if it sees heavy usage, will see the ball bearings and think it was never upgraded. So even with the triangle, the only way to tell is to look inside.
