It of depends on the type cultivation you want to do. You will have to throttle down for small crops, say half speed or so. The H probably won't have the power to handle a 4 row very well at slower speeds. Speed up and you bury the crop. When the crop gets bigger, and you can move faster, it might handle it. I imagine the slow speed thing is the reason the H is considered a 2 row and the M a four row. The vegetable cultivator I used on an H is sort of a different animal, but was probably the width of a 2 row, or slightly wider. It was hardly ever run at full throttle, the H handled it easily.
