It could be any of 1000 different problems, or no problem at all. That's the problem with a vague 2-sentence description at an online site. The only sure-fire advice I can give is to tear it completely apart and rebuild with all new parts back to factory spec. If it still makes the same noises, you either screwed up or you spent a whole bunch of money and time you didn't need to... Sorry, but that's the best anyone could possibly do with the given information.
