There is a small amount of clearance on the H/SH/300 tractors, I've put them on all three.It won't leave a bulge in hood if done correctly. The biggest problem is that the alt. will not have hardly any adjustment. It will almost touch rocker cover and hood. Does make it slightly troublesome when changing belt, but no worse than most new cars/trucks.
