Sounds some of the aftermarket rims that I have seen. The carrage bolts are the only type of bolt that will hold them on because they are a straight through box with no backing in it. The orginal rims had a box with a back in it and used a square head bolt to attach it. Surely they used a good bolt but if I were you I would ask them what grade bolt they used. You can also check to see if there is a back on the box to see if you can change to a square head bolt. Just take one bolt out and look inside the box to see if there is a back in there or if it is an open back. GOOD LUCK
