IH imported British designs for a many years, generally to fill a niche market that wasn't covered by any US designs, or to make up for a shortage in production. For example, it's my understanding that many B450 models (a row crop that looks like an MTA with factory 3pt hitch) were brought in due to a shortage of 560s. B250s and B275s were almost certainly imported because IH didn't have a US model with similar characteristics. In the '60s and '70s, many of the IH utility tractors were either designed in the UK or just plain shipped over.
