Looking at the illustrated parts breakdown (IPB)
there is a seal and bushing pictured. They are located very near the center bearing. But in reality they are meant to slide all the way down the shaft and fit into the upper bolster housing. I ordered them thinking they went into the center bearing.
There SHOULD have been bushing and seal just like that for the center bearing. I'm off to the local machine shop today to get a bushing made for that center bearing, but as someone said it still has to be ID same as largest od of the shaft and will not solve the problrm of the worn down area of the shaft
